Climate Action Synergy is a non-profit organization advancing locally led, collaborative climate action across Africa. Headquartered in Ghana, we work with communities, institutions, and partners to translate global climate commitments into practical, inclusive, and lasting solutions on the ground.
Africa faces some of the most severe impacts of climate change despite contributing the least to global emissions. Communities across the continent are experiencing rising climate risks — including extreme weather, food insecurity, ecosystem degradation, and pressure on livelihoods — while access to climate finance, technical capacity, and coordinated support remains limited. At the same time, many climate initiatives struggle to move beyond policy into effective, community-owned implementation.

We believe that durable climate impact is achieved when communities are not just beneficiaries, but leaders of climate solutions. Our work focuses on strengthening local capacity, advancing evidence-based climate interventions, and fostering partnerships that connect community action with national, regional, and international climate priorities.
Our approach is catalytic rather than duplicative. We collaborate with governments, civil society organizations, research institutions, youth groups, and the private sector to pilot and scale climate solutions that deliver measurable outcomes in climate resilience, low-emission development, and ecosystem protection. By prioritizing learning, monitoring, and accountability, we ensure that our programs generate evidence that can inform policy and attract sustained investment.

Our work contributes to resilient livelihoods, inclusive development pathways, and a climate-resilient future aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals — particularly SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
